Add 2 second Gap in Ultimate S 1.20 is broken

I was trying to layout a CD and put my audio events on the timeline and then selected all events and went into Ultimate S (version 1.20) and selected just the add 2 second gap in the audio tab. It looked like it added the gap and I went a head and burned.

But it was strange. It would start in the middle of a track and play the beginning at the end.

I finally determined that Ultimate S had added the 2 second gap but also slipped the event a little. The right edge got pulled so it began to loop back to the start of the event and the start of the event was trimmed.

Is there something I am doing wrong? or is there a setting in my project that needs to be selected (or deselected)? Or is this just a reason to upgrade to Ultimate S 2.0?

Thanks,

TomE

[EDIT]
Tom, I read your post a little too quickly (sorry). I thought you had Ultimate S 2.1 but I realize now that you still have the 1.2 version. We have discontinued support for Ultimate S 1.x and are offering a very attractive $50 upgrade to Ultimate S2 for all owners. The two free GrafPaks alone are worth that money not to mention the iZotope audio plug-in, AudioPak-1, and all the new functions in Ultimate S2.

Ultimate S 1.x supports Vegas 5 and we regret that Sony changed the script API for Vegas 6 which causes it not to work properly with that version of Vegas. Unfortunately, we cannot go back and fix it. Ultimate S 2 is fully compatible with Vegas 6 and the Add 2 Second function works correctly.

Thanks Johnny,

Somehow I suspected this to be the case. Alas, we will always be an upgrade away from realizing our computing dreams. Software and hardware...makes no difference this is still a very crude technology. I am sure you will outgrow your newly built box quickly too. LOL
