Add video track, Add Empty Event, move empty event = crash Build 411

Hi. Build 411

  1. Add video track,
  2. Add Empty Event,
  3. Touch that empty event to drag to length or move = crash πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

PC has been clean & restarted, Vegas AppData completely emptied, Reset with double click icon & CTRL+SHIFT

------------------------

I sort of worked it out, after I reset Vegas, cleaned & restarted PC, etc,

Vegas started in Default layout,

  1. Add video track
  2. Add empty event
  3. Drag event to length
  4. No crash πŸ‘

So i went about putting Vegas back how i like it, View - Organise Layouts put my saved layout back on

  1. Add video track
  2. Add empty event
  3. Drag event to length
  4. Crash πŸ˜’

Delete my saved layout that's obviously broken in some way, i've used it with no prob for the last however many updates, I reverted back to Default layout, add empty event, no crash, πŸ‘πŸ€”πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

So I rebuild my layout moving windows around back to how i like them,

  1. Add video track
  2. Add empty event
  3. Drag event to length
  4. Crash 😑🀬

Β

If I go to view - Default Layout - add empty event, no crash πŸ‘πŸ‘ but going to my saved view = crash πŸ₯΄

---------------------

Ok I've worked it out, it's Happy Otters Info bar,

This with an empty event results in crash

But this Info bar 2 is fine πŸ‘

@wwaag HOS is updated to the latest free version πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I am confused now. First I experienced crashes with your problem (but under version 403), then suddenly under version 411 no crash (and I use a saved preset layout with doublescreen)

I thought only i could tag as solution?

Moderators can do that as well.

Usually when a comment is marked as being the solution, you'd get a Vegas Community email - and it will usually show who coded the solution.
