Adding a fade to multiple split events

I split a picture event so I can move the picture at the same time of a song. I want to fade the last 1 second of the clips but when I try to fade it it ends at the first clip. I want one continuous fade across the split events. Thanks!

Add a track above your current timeline content. Then place a generated media / solid color of black over the area you want to fade. Now fade it from the beginning for however long you need. That way you can control the overall fade out.

Just use Composite envelope
