Adding audio to scene selection pages..

While adding a 1 minute ac3 audio clip to each page of my scene selection for background audio, somehow this is adding 2 gigs of memory to my project. It is as if it is re-adding the entire movie again. Any suggestions???

That's exactly what it's doing. It's a quirk in DVDA.

You can go to menu length and remove auto calculate and insert a manual length. DVDA sets the menu length depending on the length of the longest media. If your song is 4 minutes long than it creates video for menu background that is that long. If you reset the length for each menu to say 20 seconds you will see a drastic reduction in menu size.
