Adding CD Indexes? On a long audio capture.

Denicio wrote on 10/7/2004, 9:11 AM
I have a 60 minute bit of digital audio that i need to add indexs every 5 minutes or so. After i drag the audio into vegas, what are the steps i need to take to add CD indexes and burn a cd?

Do i have to rerender the audio?
or just add indexes and have Vegas burn the disc?

Thanks for the help,

Put your wav in the timeline. Put the cursor of timeline right at the point you want to add a marker and then go to 'Index' tab, then down to 'Audio CD track region' and 'click'. (you can use shortcut on keyboard) Marker will appear on timeline. When done with markers, go to 'Tool' tab and down to 'Burn CD' and then 'Disc at once Audio CD'. That's it. (well, your audio should be at 44,100 Hz, or it will re-render)

Fantastic! Thanks for the info.

This will save me much time digging thru the mammoth manual.
