Adding Chapters

Loading the file (AVCHD) into the timeline to add chapters crashes the program everytime. I can burn the files to blu ray without adding chapters. I have been using the software for about one year without problems. AVI files load in without any issues

Is this AVCHD directly from a camcorder?

Why not use an optimized video file output from Vegas rather than an AVCHD?

The nature of the optimized file depends on whether you're trying to create a DVD or BluRay disc.
