adding FX to other FX??

I have a clip that has a brightness/contrast FX on it. To this I want add a pre-existing FX package. But, every time I add the package, the other filter gets replaced by the FX from the package. I want all the filters on the clip. How do I add the pre-sets of my package to this clip without losing the FX already on it?

Hi EW,

You might try first adding the package (FX chain), then add (or drag&drop) the other fx. You can drag the added FX to the head of the new chain to change the order of FX.

The problem is, the other effect is already on the clip, properly adjusted. I want to KEEP it without having to add it again after the package is applied. Is there any way to apply a package without disturbing FX already applied?

Hi EW,

You might try saving the current FX (the one you want to retain) as a preset. Open the FX chain, add the FX, drag to change the order and apply the preset to the FX.
