Adding K/Fs on the Run?

Any way of doing this as per hitting the M key for markers? Or can one add K/Fs to Markers? NOW that would be an advantage - yeah?

NOw that WOULD indeed be helpful.. I guess inserting markers, placing cursor there and then syncing the cursor in your KF timeline is the closest you get?

Yeah . .that's what I thought and have experiemented with just now - well 2 hours back. Now 9:45pm UK. 10 hours at the sceens is driving me nuttttzz . . .

Now a script that would place k/f Diamonds to Markers would be a boon - n'est pas?

OK, I'm not following the need for keyframes on the fly. What type of keyframes are you talking about? Some might be doable via scripts while others will not be. So, can you clarify a little bit?

I could use it when I do edits on music. Being originally a musician - and a good sense of rhythm to me is very important for editing - I can put markers at the right place while playing the timeline (at least 9 out of 10 times - :) ) and if for whatever reason you need an effect, pan/crop or whatever on a certain moment - at the right time in music, or after a word someone's saying - it's a very fast way of marking that point. How convenient to press a button and having the keyframe at that point after (or while) you set the marker..

Exactly! Well said Mark! I'm looking for ways for V4 to be more elegant than she be . . . I too like the odea of watching and listening to my work and hitting the M key to place a marker - NOW i'd like to hit another key to place a DIAMOND K/F on a K/F T/L - yes? In P/C would be good - but I can think of several k-framable instances where it would be really neat too . . .
