Adding mpg movie problem

Hmmm ok, so I'm confused.

I've been using DVDA v1 for a good while now, and have recently upgraded to v2.

The problem I have is that, I can no longer add mpg movie files as media files.

If I right click on my menu, then Insert Media, mpg files are apparently not supported as no extension is allowed..

Any ideas?

Thanks Alex

ya, i get the same error too. Error says: "Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files. This file is an unsupported format." I was able to open the same .mp3 file but i cant now. It doesnt even shows up in Explorer window. And it is not the only file. There are some other files too that dont open which are supported by Sony products. Any help?

I couldnt open MP3 either, so I had to convert to AC3 or WAVE file first(PCM) Make sure you convert them at 48mhz instead of the default 44.1 Once you do that you will have no problems
The EASIEST way to do this is get the latest version of NERO BURNING ROM, open a project using the Nero burning rom button rather than the NERO startsmart menu. Press cancel after default project window opens. you now have a blank grey screen. At top middle, go to EXTRAS and ENCODE files. In that menu you will open your MP3's and then change the output to whatever you desire, over 30 or 40 different formats to encode to. AC3, PCM, etc. Then save to wherever you want them. Voila, your ready to open them up in DVD2 now.
