Adding Music to Photo Slideshow

Well, I can't believe this, but I'm truly stuck with something that should be so simple! I have about a 150 pictures in my DVDA slideshow, and I want to add 6 songs. I can't seem to add another music track right after the first one like you can in Vegas. It makes me create another Audio Track and then it puts song #2 right underneath. So now I have six songs right underneath each other. I'd like them on one track and be able to move them about according to which pictures appear. Obviously, I don't want the songs to run at the same time, but in sequence. Am I overlooking something basic? And I did try to look up the problem's solution in the Help menu. No luck.

DVD Architect isn't an editor, so ... use software that does editing. Load all your songs into Vegas and render a new audio file with all of them running in sequence in that single file. Then use this new file in DVDA.

FYI, adding audio tracks in DVDA doesn't caused them to play "at the same time." They are alternate audio tracks -- the viewer would have the option to switch between them.

The way picture compilations in DVDA work is: Several pictures, one audio file for the duration of the compilation (or alternative audio files, one at a time).

Music compilations are: Several audio files, one picture/video file for each audio file.

As Chienworks says, if you want anything more complicated than that, you should use a video editor (Vegas). You'll have better control over placement, duration, and transitions (which aren't even available in DVDA) that way, anyhow.
