Adding Still Images

I build mp4 files that use static images and audio.

Sometimes these can use over 100 images and I was wondering if there is an easier way to go about adding markers and images to timeline manually.

I use Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum.

The process is as follows:

1. Add the audio file
2. Place markers along the timeline where the images change
3. Drag an images to the timeline snapping it to the corresponding marker and stretching it to the appropriate length

Does anyone know of a way to automate the process?

I was able to add the markers automatically using the trial version of Vegas Pro 12 and Vegasaur but I wonder if there is a script or application that would allow me to automate adding the images and stretch them based on the markers.

Thanks

This forum is for Vegas Pro scripting. I don't believe that Vegas Movie Studio even supports scripting, so your question has probably been posted to the wrong forum.

Yes, I realize this is for Vegas Pro Scripting so I was curious if I can accomplish this task if I had the full version of Vegas Pro.

Vegasaur contains Markers tool for creating markers and Quick Properties tool, which can place your images exactly as you need (Placement tab):

If you use Movie Studio Platinum 12 you can use VASST Marker Maker to automate the creation of the markers and VASST Still Motion to automate the creation of your photo montage. They only cost $9.95 each but you have to have Movie Studio Platinum 12 or Vegas Pro so if you're using a previous version of Movie Studio you would need to upgrade.
