Adding text, help

I'm new to this. I've run through the tutorial, and have edited my own video. There's one thing I can't seem to figure out. How do I add text? I've went to text/backgrounds and dragged a background past the event, then right clicked on the background and chose "Edit generated text". All it gives me is two lines where I can type in text, with no provisions for changing font size, just font style. I would like to be able to add rolling credits, but I just can't find the appropriate answers here or in the users manual that I downloaded from the web site.

For rolling text choose credit rolls and drag to timeline. When the dialog box opens change the text to what you want. You can add more, subtract, etc.

For text, click on text then drag "sample text" to the timeline. A dialog box opens and you can endlessly change/play around with it.

Thanks for the reply. When I drag credit rolls to timeline, no dialog box opens, just the Video Media Generator. As far as "click on text", I can't locate anything to click.
