Use Credit Roll.

You can find it in Text/Backgrounds.

thnx swarrine.I did use the text/backgrounds. but i want my own video and just add a scrolling text. is it possible and how?

If you choose the preset for transparent background, you'll see your own video behind the text.

Right click on empty space below your tracks and select "Insert video track". this will create a new empty track above your video.

Bottom left of the workspace click on "Text/Backgrounds" tab. If it's not there hold down <Alt> key & number <9> key together & it will appear.

Left hand coloumn select "Credit roll".

Left click on the "Scrolling on transparent" example and drag/drop to your new empty video track.

Event FX window will open , type in what you want displayed & customise to your hearts content.

Position directly above the point in your original video track where you want it displayed and for how long.

When you preview in playback you will see your credits roll over the top of your main video.
