I used to use the Boris Continuum FX for this but the Vegas text and 360 reorient fx do the same thing. I had a problem with the text background losing it's alpha layer transparency, but adding a chroma key fx resolved that.

For 3D 360 or VR180 videos you can use the stereoscopic 3D adjustment fx to move the text in the 3rd dimension.

Thank you for your response .. is the strereoscopic 3d made within Vegas alone or do I need to buy 3rd party plugins? Can you post your results somwhere and do you have a short tutorial how you accomplished this? I perused youtube university and could not find anything on Vegas. But I did find a simple way of doing this in Adobe Premiere. I'm baffled Vegas hasn't stepped up on this as 180/360 formats have been around for quite awhile. Thanks again.
