Does anyone know of a way to add the same effect to a group of consecutive events? It is a pain to select each event individually to apply the effect when it would be so much easier if I could just hold down "shift" to select the events and then (say) apply the effect to the first event which would then apply it to all the selected events.

To select more than one event and add an FX to one and than all selected has that FX, no problem in my VMS Pl 16, look

I'm using build 142. From having a quick look at your video, it seems you are adding the effect to the last event. I've been adding it to the first event. Perhaps this is where I've been going wrong. I'll try adding it to the last one.

I think I've figured it out. I was clicking on the fx icon on the event, whereas you were dragging the fx from the fx window layout. I've given this a go and it works!

It does seem to work by dragging the fx from the fx window layout but not by clicking on the fx icon on one of the selected events. I'm happy to do it the way you showed me though. I'll update to the latest build. Thanks again.

You could also drag the clips into a separate track and apply your fx as track fx instead of event fx, so the fx affects the entire track.
