I gotta ask, how come Western Australia is counted seperately to the rest of Terra Australis?
I know I could REALLY start something here but using that logic Texas shouldn't be part of the USA should it?

I know there are quite a few Vegas users in Adelaide, we did a VASST class there, and then I met a few more when I performed at WOMAD. AWESOME little city. But I never saw any koalas. I'm about to swear they don't exist.

Gee, DSE, now why didn't you ask somebody to point you in their direction. I'm in Melbourne (about 600Kms away) and yet I know they're up in them thar hills -- well in a sanctuary about 30 mins drive from the city is the easiest way to see them. Not all that interesting creatures, actually.

Bob, i don't type in the country names. Those who put their pins in the map do so. Apparently the Western Aussies either don't feel themselves unified with the rest of the continent, or they feel themselves worthy of special notation. *shrug*

Kelly - I think that applies to just one person who must have put Western Australia in Country instead of State - there's only a count of 1 under Western Australia, whilst clicking on the map shows 7. Presumably the other 6 of us are already counted as Australians.

You beauty - strewth - no worries, and other dinki-di expressions .....

You mean there are other states in Australia?

DSE:

You have to be quick to see a koala. Because, you see, a Koala is an animal that eats, roots, and leaves.

(Root - Aus slang for sex)

Wolfie's here all week, twice on Saturdays. As always, please tip your waiters.

I 100% agree with that Bob! WIth their "moto" being "Don't mess with Teaxs!" we had both better run for cover.

What was it that GW said? Sommething like "Some people say I have a swagger. I call it walking."

And what was it Sponge Bob said?

Sponge Bob: "Hey what am i?"
Patrick: "Stupid?"
Sponge Bob: "No, Texas!"

Serena, I'll be in Melbourne again this July. We've done VASST classes in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, and nearly made it to Perth last year...This will be my fourth trip down for VASST, and my 7th overall. I love Melbourne. I enjoy Wollongong and parts west even more though. (I'm a country boy)

Dave, we have a saying here in Utah....
East is east, but West is best! :-)
Serena wrote on 2/27/2005, 6:07 PM
DSE, I think I'd find a VASST pretty useful. So I'll swat up on Koala locations for July.

Hi there,

I live in Adelaide too, but seem to be surrounded by Premier users.
Bluetongue wrote on 3/1/2005, 3:37 AM
Hey Biggles

Yeah it seems to be premier or Final Cut around here.
What sort of stuff do you put together and how long have you been a Vegas user?

For our American friends who haven't seen any koalas - that's not surprising. They have mostly been eaten by the dropbears .... sad.

G'day Darren,

I've been using Vegas for about 3 years now. I am an escapee from Pinnacle Studio 8. I do the usual family stuff plus a few weddings and a few special events.

I live over the northern side ofthe city - where are you?

Wayne

Hey Wayne I live South of the City at Sheidow Park.
3 years on Vegas? You must know a heap about it!
I shoot the odd wedding too when time permits.
I'm working as film clip for a band at the moment and picking up odd jobs here and there.
I shoot with a Sony PD170... i love it! What sort of camera are you usuing?
