Adjusting contrast during capture

I'm using a Sony DV camcorder to input into Videofactory but I need to adjust the contrast a bit. I know I can add an effect to adjust per clip once it's captured but my question is, is there a way to adjust the contrast DURING capture so that when I end up with a pile of clips, I don't have to add the contrast effect to each clip individualy.

Probably not. Capturing from a DV source is really just copying a file. There isn't any processing going on. Maybe in the future when everyone has quad Pentium 5's running at 4GHz ....

You don't have to adjust contrast for every clip. You can apply project wide (aka global) contrast corrections. Just click the video output fx icon above the preview window. Any plugin's you select here will apply to the whole project.

Too bad they don't have a global crop function (a feature for VF3?).
