Might be a seniors moment here. I was sure I could do this but all efforts fail me.
I know I could nest but this project is already a child and things are getting gnarly and the thought of grandchildren too much to contemplate.

I thought I could parent a null track and any FX applied to it would affect all the children but no dice, darn. I could bounce the problem to AE but that seems overkill.
