adolescent voiceover tweak?

I've got a mature female voiceover doing a clean read of a poem used over a photomontage with simple music track -12db under. I'd like the female voice to be very young - too young to actually get a read, say 5-7 YOA.

I've been trying to tweak the UltimateS Oz audio presets, but can't seem to excape the slightly "munchkin" (and slightly obviously processed) tone. Don't have SF7.

Anybody got a preset chain they could pass on? Or other suggestions?

TIA, Darryl

BTW, also posted on video forum.

If i had to guess i would say that a lot of the difference is in pronounciation and mixtures of overtones in the way that an adolescent throat and mouth form the words. I doubt you'll be able to duplicate this in post processing.

Good insight. I guess it's just a whole different set of sounds. That would explain why I keep missing the mark. Thanks, Darryl

There is no magic plugin to do this. The above comments are on the money. Try getting somebody in their teens, perhpas an actor from your daughter's high school or Jr. High to read it, with a slight falsetto. Also, many younger women can read it and make it sound like a much younger girl. It's all in the person..not the software. Good luck
