Advantages to Upgrading to 4.0 from 2.0?

I've been using 2.0 for awhile. I notice that 4.0 has more 5.1 stereo & Dual Layer support, but other than that are there any advantages to upgrading to 4.0? I haven't seen the 3.0 release notes.

Not sure what you mean by "more 5.1 stereo" -- DVD Architect has always accepted 5.1 audio.

You can see what was new in DVDA 3.0 here and in DVDA 4.0 here.

In short, DVDA3 introduced playlists, dual layer support, alternate angles, jacket pictures, menu loop point, media effects, PSD import, and various usability improvements

DVDA4 added scripting, buttons on video, title re-ordering. subtitle graphics, keyframe animations, and various usuability improvements.

Much of this will not apply, of course, if you're referring to DVDA Studio rather than DVDA. If that's the case, I have no idea what was new in 3.0. That would explain your comment about 5.1 above, though... Until 4.0, DVDA Studio did not support AC3 audio at all.
