ADVC won't recognize in win2000/VV3.0b

In Windows 2000 only. I can't get my advc-100 to be recognized in Vegas 3.0b or Video Capture. My 1394 card shows as a device, but it says the dv device is unavailable. I've tried disabling "enable device control" in Video Capture. Still no luck. This works fine in Windows XP. Only a problem in 2000. Is there another driver I can use for the ADVC to show up?

The device should should show up in Device Manager under Imaging Devices when connected and turned on. In Video Capture, it should show up under the Video menu as "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR".

No, you should always use the default Windows drivers as that's the only DV driver that is supported.
