After i chroma key my Green screen the green is not fully erase

Sony Vegas pro 14 .This is my first time editing a green screen. after i add the chroma key. the green is erase but after i resize the video there is still like transparent thing in the background in the video like remnants in the video.
i cant find any video tutorial about this problem so i decide to ask here hope someone can understand me and help me with this problem

You chose a preset 'pure green' , but that doesn't necessarily mean it will exactly match the green in your picture. go into the options and tick 'show mask only' . you should see that the green did not infact key out, there will be a light fog of white where the green is.

Change preset back to default & use eye dropper to draw a small square on green area. This time the 'show mask only' setting should show that no green remains. Turn up the low threshold slider a little if problem were to still exist, but it shouldn't as that looks like a commercial media effect

Actually, you get better results disabling the FX first, select the color and then enable it.

I am just curious why you would get a better result by disabling the FX first. Isn't the chroma key still keying out the exact same color? Just wondering that's all.

When you first apply the FX, blue is already selected and already actively keying out that color which can impact the color you are selecting.
