after make movie not able to edit/add

In the project window instead of seperate items to be edited the whole lot gone into one picture (the first picture of the movie).
I need to add items to the video but it is now all joined together!
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to edit the file that you created when you did the "make movie"? You shouldn't be. You should open up the original project (.vf) file that you saved from when you were editing.
