Ive just upgraded to XP Pro and had to change to VV3, When I open projects, all mutitrack Audio only created in VV2 they work but after saving them and reopening them they dont play, the first second is ok then the freeze. Meters freeze cursor freezesbut clock still runs. Soundforge 5 then has same problem Only way out of this is to uninstall VV3, Rebbot and Soundforge is then OK .after reinstalling VV3 it will work untill you open the original VV2 project previously saved in VV3,IM GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES Oh one other thing when this happens, it takes out the driver for my MOTU miditimepiece and i have to reinstall that too. Everything was great with vegas 2 and 98.

I found out the problem myself, its the wav files created in VV2 they dont work for some reason in VV3 so I just opened them up in Soundforge 5 and saved them over themselves and when i load the veg file it all works great. It took a while to figure out but when i sucked a wav file off a CD and loaded into VV3 it worked so it just had to be the answer

Please send a small sample .wav file to sonicepm@sonicfoundry.com- we'll definitely take a look.

I,m now going nuts because I thought everything was fine ,well it was when i shut down after testing the resaved wav files, but on booting the computer from cold a few days later, my miditimepiece driver failed to load so I cancelled it and opened vegas 3and loaded a veg file that worked before and it all froze up again. I now suspect the MOTU driver, as I had to uninstall vegas, reboot and the MOTU driver loaded OK ,reinstalled vegas and it worked. tested veg file, all OK ,but I have afeeling that I know whats going to happen on the next boot up..........
Any ideas?
