After render glitches

After i render im getting glitches on playback. The review looks good, but the rendered version is terrible. I have updated to v3.0c and I am recording to a second HD. Any help would be great thanks.

Template NTSDV, footage I recorded from vcr is in .mpg, and am useing no fx audio is in mp3

Heh ok the noob that i am i found out that mpeg isnt the best for editing :) I rerecorded in .rm and worked out great ....
