AI Text to Speech Quota (80,000 characters)

I have been utilising AI text-to-speech service for several weeks to edit my videos. However, upon logging in today, I encountered an update that will massively affect my workflow. I noticed a message indicating that I have "X of 80,000 characters for AI real-time voice synthesis left. Manage your total quota in my profile" (please see the attached image for reference).

When I attempted to access my profile to review and manage my quota, I was unable to do so. Additionally, I am now limited to rendering only 5-second samples, which significantly hampers my editing process. As part of my workflow, I typically re-render scripts and make phonetic and grammatical adjustments like 50-100 times per video. Under the current restrictions, completing a single video will be challenging for me, if not impossible.

Can anyone please clarify why this change has occurred and how I might regain access to unlimited characters?

Fortunately, not so. The free preview is limited to 5 seconds but the full t-to-t translation is carried out when clicking on Insert on Timeline. Clicking on Generate Full Audio allows the entire t-to-t to be previewed but it seems that this burns up the character quota.

Keeping in mind that MAGIX incurs a usage fee for each use of t-to-t from its 3rd party provider (very likely Microsoft), it looks like t-to-t allowances apply to perpetual licences since t-to-t became available to perpetual licences last month with the release of build 300. From the comparison page on Vegas Pro's website - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/product-comparison/#productMenu - there is the following note:

VEGAS Pro 365 Subscription

* Due to ongoing cost structures, we are currently able to offer higher usage limits for subscription users than we can for perpetual users.

Prior to the release of build 300 in early April, text-to-speech (and vv) was only available in Vegas Pro by subscription.

I'm not sure about "Manage your total quota in my profile" as it doesn't seem to be functioning.

Is this what Elon Musk would term as an impediment to Free Speech? !!!!!
