All clips not displayed on the timeline in DVD Arc

I am not a techie whizz, so please bear with me with my layman terms. Okay so I have rendered my movie in Vegas. First thing, I rendered the video as MPEG2 and then rendered the audio as AC. Question when I save the render do I save as the same file for both video and audio?

Then I go to Architech to open a new single movie. Not all my movie clips are displayed on the timeline. Is this because it is too big? In the Explorer window if I right click on the file name and check the properties it says it's 7GB! Can't be surely - it's only about 30 minutes long.

Pulling my hair out - this is my first attempt....so close yet so fare!

When you render the video and the separate AC3 files, render them into the same folder with the same name (only the file extension will be different) DVDA will then automatically link them.
Only one file will open if you are creating a single movie project - that's what you've asked it to do after all. ;-) If you want multiple clips, you need to use a project starting with a menu system.
Your file size depends on what type of MPEG2 you've rendered to, and what bit rate you've set. Did you use a DVDA template to render from within Vegas?

Here is a link to a webinar on how to use DVD-A. This will answer a lot of your basic questions and also give you some ideas on how to structure your DVD project:

The webinar is about 45 minutes.
