All properties under DV Camera and VCR Captre are Greyed out

Is it possible to change the format or properties when capturing via a dv camera and firewire ? For example I may have a need to go straight to mpeg.

Is this possible in Screenblast ? Or is it similar to the mpeg render options...none. ?

In a word, no. You can only capture the raw DV, though you can obviously change the format when you render. Going straight to mpeg isn't a good idea if you're going to edit - it's very slow and the quality is poor.
