Allright....I give up (transition clip?)

Allright....I am bowing to the good nature of the knowledgeable ones here who can tell me what the hell I am doing wrong.
I cant figure out the transition clip deal!!! All I want to do is while in the main menu, if you click what is equivilant to "play all", a simple 6 sec transition clip plays and then goes directly into the main media clip.
I can get it to navigate into the transition clip, but am pulling my hair out trying to understand why I cant get it to go directly into the main clip. It either loops, or goes back into the main menu. What gives?

Hi Scratchmonkey,

What your looking for is not currently possible in DVDA2. Simply this effect is usually done on a filmstrip. This also applys to delayed highlights. I would do the following:

Play all (link to) six second clip (end action of this to the video stream).

There will be a slight pause between clips. I would suggest placing the six second clip directly under the first of the play all item in the asset list on the left. This will in effect reduce the pause. Hope that this helps...Coffeebean

Did you change the end action for the transition video so that it leads to the media clip?
