alpha channels-ACTION BACKS

i just perchased software called Action Backs which is similar to Juicer made by Digital Juice. I'm having problems getting my alpha channels removed so i can see my image come through the areas they need to come throuhg. I downloaded the software, so it came with 2 files for each image. 1. the source file and 2. the matt file. supposedly, they are supposed to be linked with a child layer and adjusted with different parameters, but i am not having luck. Is anyone familiar with this method for the "Action Backs" software?
thank you.

Not sure, but I'd guess you'd have to put the matte file on track 1, then the other file on track 2. Hit the little "L" shaped arrow to make #2 a child of #1 (so the black arrow points up). It might be that you'll need to hit the arrow on #1.

Here is some stuff on the Digtal Juice site, might get you started.

Dont know there stuff , but have you also gone into the properties of them in the media pool and made sure that the alpha channel is set correctly? either straight, premult/dirty.....etc.
