Alternate view during pan/crop/rotate?

Is there a way, either within Vegas itself or by means of a 3rd party plugin, to change the view of panning/cropping/rotating?

Vegas currently shows the input, with an outline of what the output will be. I would like to see the output, with an outline of what the input is.

Trying to precisely correct random rotation by hand is difficult with the current arrangement. I think I have it right, but when I play the result, it isn't. If the camera is tilted up, a vertical pole on the left or right of the frame will tilt inwards, and trying to present that correctly when the whole thing is randomly skewing on the screen is a nightmare.

The alternate view would also help while trying to correct or apply panning, as well.

Ah! I think I have it. Watch the main monitor window while applying the effects!

Yes. And I often reduce the playback rate to fine tune sure the Audio is s l o w e d down but I get the sense of syncing.

Cheers

Track motion does work the way you describe.

I find it annoying that one tool has one view while the other has a different view. I wish both tools could toggle between both views. I also wish there was an event-level track motion and a track level pan/crop.

One suggestion i've made before is that pan/crop should have two rectangles: one for position and one for crop, which would normally operate together but could be separated to work separately. This would bring the functionality of both tools together into one, and i think be much more intuitive and useful.

Thanks to you both. We can always hope for improvements.
