Until recently, I've used Nero to burn audio CDs, and have had no problems at all. I've recently installed CDA5 and started playing with it - with a pretty short learning curve. Now...what I'm having problems with (and was having problems with before) is that at the /very/ end of the compilation I end up getting a click - less than 1 second.
I double-checked the last track in the compilation several times and whatever is causing the click, it's not a remnant or an artifact in the audio file. It's almost as if it's caused by the laser turning off. My first thought was the possibility of TAO vs DAO burning, but the docs say that CDA5 only supports DAO. One thing I did check was CDR compatibility. I've got a TDK 24/10/40x veloCD burner. Checking the compatibility list, TDK isn't on it, at all - whether that's a factor or cause - I don't know.
I've tried using both CDR and CDRW disks, burning with/without buffer underrun protection, burning with/without rendering a temporary image first. I'm not sure what else to look for, think of, enable, or disable. Any and all help would /truly/ be appreciated.
TIA,
Jeff
