amd x2 4400 render times

Hi
It took my x2 4400 system one hour and eight min. to render 47 min dv to mpeg2. Is this about normal?
had two audio and two video plugins.

The video plugins would have the most effect. It all depends on what you have on there.
A straight AVI to Mpeg2 render should be faster than the program time on your system.

used eq, and comp, for audio and contrast and brit, chroma broadcast, media gen at intro and credit roll at end, some crossfades.
