an awfully basic question... please help!

Hi Gang,

My head is spinning. Have some great footage of a fitness trainer performing some exercises in a gym. Would like to cut these up into 2 minute segments to be played over the web. Figure I'll use wmv (unless someone wants to suggest otherwise) and want a nice crisp/smooth picture at the smallest possible file size.

I've been blindly tweaking parameters in the render templates and just don't seem to be getting anywhere. What are the most important parameters to fiddle with? Anybody care to share their favorite settings for such web delivery?

Thanks!
Jeff

Look here. I found this doing just a quick search for streaming video in the Vegas forum.

Thanks jrazz,

I downloaded the free trial of on2 flix standard from zdnet and it indeed creates impressive quality and size with just a coouple clicks.

Question, though (and I know NOTHING about flash). How do I play the whole flv file? I'm not seeing a player for it anywhere.

Thanks again,
Jeff
