Analog to DV capture keeps stopping

For the first time I'm trying to capture from a VCR using my DV8 cam as a poor man's Canopus ADVC100. Everything works great except the capture keeps stopping at precisely 00:05:20 every time. I've made sure that I don't have maximum clip set and I've tried with minimum clip enabled and disabled. Preview is disabled as I've always had probs using that but no other variables that I'm aware of have changed. Anyone have any ideas? Clip length is exactly 00:05:20 every time no matter where on the VHS tape I start capturing.
Strange. Very strange indeed.

Are you sure you have enough disc space where you set the capture path to?

There's plenty as long as it's going where it's supposed to. Hmmm. Maybe it changed becuase of new project settings....I'll check.
