I'm burning a DVD using a file from Vegas 4.

It was shot using DVX 100, 24p advanced, blending both anamorphic and non anamorphic footage.

If I use the 4x3 setting on Vegas, can I use the widescreen option on DVD architect?

Or should I change the Vegas setting to 16x9, and then use the DVD architect widescreen version?

Also, if I burn a widescreen DVD, will it play in any old TV? Will the DVD player add the bars while showing on a old player?
