I've imported an animated gif for a webinar presentation I'm putting together. However, the preview does not show any animation at all. Is this normal? Do I have to alter some settings somewhere?
If i have to do something else to see it actually move, I'd be obliged if someone can point me in the right direction.

My mistake! I imported the slide with the gif embedded, rather than a gif itself. It works fine now.
