Animated Text Not Visible

Blissmissy wrote on 6/28/2013, 10:54 PM
Hi, so I was playing with my sony vegas pro 12 today and when I went to Media Generators > Titles & Text, I noticed all the animations had nothing in them. they were all blank and they showed up that way. they don't show up AT ALL. It might have to do with the problem that I get a message right when I click "render as" which says: An error occured while creating the media file, Exception thrown by method called. I bought Vegas Movie Studio Platinum, and it is happening to that too. I need help FAST! :( It's not fair that I bought products that have errors. I don't wanna say that I want a refund. I rarely use those, I mainly use Legacy Text but I don't know what is going on. No matter what, they are blank and not visible. Answers ASAP plz! ~Bliss

First things first. Please fill out your system spec including drivers for your video card. Also, have you tried switching off GPU acceleration in Vegas Pro? Does this happen with the text only generated of is there more on the timeline?

No, only titles and text. and sorry but I don't understand what you really said when you said to "fill out my system spec including driver for my video card", I am only 14. Also, I will try switching off the GPU acceleration. This is only happening to the animated text such as: Action Flip, Popup, etc. Sorry for misunderstandings or anything like that :)

Not a problem. In your system profile for the forum you can fill in your systems hardware and we would also need to know which driver is installed for your video card. Please make sure you make the information visible to the forum.

Did you follow the link I provided? Have you tried switching off GPU acceleration? It will be difficult to help you without knowing the hardware you are working on.

Yes I followed the link u gave me and I already had that checked. My GPU acceleration was already turned off because there is no option to turn it on. And also, Sony Vegas isn't in my software info. I think that is because it might be on my dad's. I don't know what his account is but I have both on my laptop. I hope that is the information you needed :)
