Animated title question

Bolexguy wrote on 5/17/2012, 8:22 PM
When I drop in animated titles, like bounce, I am unable to make them freeze in place so once the animation is done and all my words are centered in the screen there is time allotted so they can be read. Dragging the title frame to the right just recycles the animation! With scroll it just recycles the same words over and over and much too fast to be useful. I can find no help for controlling the animation! Help!
Wasting too much time on something I thought was so simple.>

Hi. I certainly hope someone on this forum can come up wih a solution for this problem. I struggled a lot with this initially but without success. Now when I want to use one of these animated titles, I set the preview to Full Best then take a snapshot of the last frame of the title. I then tag the resultant jpg image onto the end of the title and drag the jpg to the length required. It's a bit of a fiddly workaround but it works.

"Dragging the title frame to the right just recycles the animation! "

Right click on the event, go to Switches, and uncheck Loop. Then it will do what you want.

(Note that this only works on the actual last frame of the event, not ones that have been trimmed.)

Thanks Musicvid. That's gone down in my little book of hints and tips.
So easy when you know how :-)
