animation software?

I was wondering if any one could suggest a good 3d animation program that is easy to learn and has good tutorials. I am new to this and need some help to add aniamtion to my vegas videos.

Caligari's trueSpace 6 is a current version 3D program, but Caligari sells the previous version trueSpace 5 for a lower price and the version before that, trueSpace 4, for an even lower price. And, what is even better, Caligari is distributing the version before that, trueSpace 3.2, for free:

free trueSpace 3.2

There are other free 3D programs, but I think trueSpace's user interface is probably easier to learn.

3D Studio MAX! I know Max and Maya and prefer Max for it's strong poly editing tools, good render (now with global illumination) and improved character setup and animation tools.

you could try www.computerarts.co.uk which reviews all 3D apps free/shareware and commercial.
