Annoying Data Noise

Butch Moore wrote on 5/7/2015, 9:32 AM
I use a MOTU Traveler as a an audio interface (IEEE 1394). My card is a TI chip firewire interface. Never any noticable problems until recently.

As of late, I hear the faint sound of what sounds like a data stream come through my KRK powered speakers several times a day. I know that this used to be a problem with laptop USB interfaces years ago. Any idea of the cause or the solution to clearing this annoyance up?

I'll give you 99% certainty it's a smartphone interfering.

At a musical premiere, I muted my phone and laid it on top of my keyboard amp.
Its the kind of lesson one never forgets.

told everyone mobiles OFF... but no, main talent simply muted hers and put it in her pocket next to transmitter. popular woman in some circles. certainly not mine!!!!!
