If I had anything to pick about it would be some areas look blown out to me. I know that seems to be all the rage today, but back in the day it was hammered into my head that burned out areas were unacceptable.
The fact is the eye is automatically drawn to the brightest area in the image. The problem with that is that the over blown area may not be where you want the audience to focus in that shot.
Anyway, it almost made me want a cup of coffee, and I don't drink coffee.
Bit of both. I had some cheap lights right up close, sometimes leaning on the actual machine (which didn't make making the coffee any easier). And then used Magic Bullet Editors and tweaked the settings of one of the presets to my liking.
Great job on the Corporate Coffee logo animation as well!
I really like the blown out parts, the lighting and the coloring are fantastic, shallow depth of field, there is a lot of mood to it!
The only thing that bothered me a little is the way you brought up your tiling at the opening and end, I probably would of used a more stylized font + fx and blend it in more with the rest of your video, but otherwise, I am impressed!
BTW, what compression did you use for the vimeo site?
Thanks Rob. Actually I had just seen that text rotating in thingy on some commercial the same day as I was doing this and thought "Hey, that was kinda easy and kinda spiffy" and wanted ta try it. =)
