Any EDL tips?

I'm trying to convert a project from Premiere to VV via EDL and the project will open, but it is all messed up and is inserting the same clip over most of the timeline. Are there any special tricks or settings I must use in Premiere to get an a clean EDL file for moving a project to VV?

Is this a Premiere EDL? Have you tried a Sony or CMX edl export from Premiere?

Be forewarned that everything will not map across, but events should show up in the right place on the timeline- enough to get you started.

This was a CMX export. I tried all the flavors and that was the only one that seemed to export in a VV readable format. The only problem is that it was all whacked (i.e. events in the wrong sequence...).
