I posted the following in Creative Cow's forum in which DSE says that he has heard of compatability problems with Hammerfall 9652 and VV3. My problem is below. Anyone run into this? Thanks:

I have the RME Hammerfall 9652. I have just upgraded to VV3 from VA2 (where I used the Hammerfall with 98SE). On this new computer I am using 2000 Pro.

The problem is that almost everything is throwing the sync off with the RME. For instance, if I chose a new song. If I do a take and do not want it, gone. So, the software for the RME card goes to "No Lock".

My master clock is the RME converter. My configuration is this:

1. RME converter wordclock (via ADAT lightpipe) to the RME Hammerfall.
2. RME converter wordclock (via BNC) to Tascam TM-D1000 (set to wordclock in.
3. All clocks are set to 48k.

I used this setup with VA2 and did not have these problems. Any ideas?
