So I’ve been trying to edit 1080p 60fps video but the project is set to 1440p because otherwise when I upload it to YouTube the quality sucks. But I can’t even edit because when I play the video it runs at about 2 fps and when I check task manager the gpu is spiking.

I have ryzen 5 5600x

16gb 3200mhz ram

gtx 1660 super

I have got gpu acceleration turned on and even when I try to turn it off it still lags. Changing the video ram amount doesn’t help either or the preview quality. Is this because I’m using the steam version of movie studio because at the point I have no clue what’s happening
