Any time limit on registering software ?

I bought Vegas Pro 18 in July because of the deal, went to install it and couldn't because my computer is not
64 bit.

I don't need to use it anytime soon, but will it be a problem if I don't install or register it until I get a new computer ? (might be a year or more)

Also, I just created this profile and it won't let me upload a profile picture. Is that for experienced users only ?

I'm not aware of a time limit but best to check with Magix Sales. It is probably now registered with the email address you used when purchasing and to which you were sent the activation code. So when you do install and activate make sure you use that email address.

As for profile picture I'm not aware of any limitation. You probably need to click on Edit in your profile page before you can upload but I'm not certain as it's ages since I changed mine.

Yeah, "activation" is the word I should have used. I suppose it may be registered, but will not
be able to be activated until I get a compatible computer.

I don't think it matters. I have ancient versions of Vegas in my account that don't have computers associated with anymore but can still be downloaded and installed if I cared to.

the only time limit I have seen are on Humble Bundle purchases. They will sometimes state that an app needs to be registered by a specific date.

For a persistent license we do not have a time limit for activation. The serial is already on your account showing none of the install slots are being used.
