Hi,
I can't seem to find a way in VMS 8b to save my edited project without a quality losing & time consuming re-rendering.
The only way I have found so far to edit and burn my HDV footage from my Canon HV-20 is by using three separate programs!
I can only use use VMS8 to capture to .m2t files, then I must use Womble to edit (it will only render transitions etc. and leaves the clips alone) and export to an .mpg program stream file and then finally use Ulead DVD Movie Factory 6+ to create menus and burn 20 minutes of HD to a standard DVD-R. (DVD Architect 4.5 seems to be totally clueless here).
Is there a way to do this in VMS and if not, why not?
I would really like to use the superior editing features of Vegas.
Why should I have to purchase 2 other programs?
Will the full Vegas 8 do what I need or is Sony one step behind??
Thanks,
