I've been using Vegas Pro 13-16+ for YEARS (currently using 16, but own v20) and I've always wondered if there's a way to somehow center an object in a video with a click of a button.
I've always manually zoomed into an object, (lets say a box for instance), and centered the box to the best of my ability using things like a grid above the Vegas preview window. Unfortunately, I know I will never be able to PERFECTLY center that box in the video with pixel precision.
So my question is, is there a plugin/effect that can easily center that object for me instead of trying to eyeball it to the best of my ability? If it's able to detect the box mentioned earlier, and center that object in the exact middle of my screen, or maybe to a corner?
With AI's rapid evolution, I think now is the best time to ask this question here since this has always been a tedious and annoying process.
I've tried Googling this question but all that comes up are YouTube tutorials about how to "center an image".. Not exactly what I'm looking for.
Let me know if anyone's got a solution!
