Any way to fade-in menu buttons in DVD-A 2.0?

I just downloaded the demo to DVD Architect 2.0 & I wanted to know if this version does any sort of menu fade-in buttons on a looped motion menu. The Star Wars DVD's are good examples of this chapter button fade in. What I want to do is have the video portion on the menu start for about 7 seconds or so & then have the menu buttons come in after that. It makes the menu look smoother than having all of the buttons jump into the frame right after the first play intro is done. Any help would be much appreciated.

DVDA2 does not have any functionality for fading in menu buttons.

One suggestion would be to use Vegas to create a video which fades from a menu with no buttons to a menu with buttons. Add this video to your project and set its end action to link to the menu (or just add the fade to the end of your intro video).

To get an image of menu with buttons, you can copy to clipboard when previewing in DVDA2 and paste into your favourite paint program. (The copy to clipboard button is in the toolbar above the preview's remote.)

You may want highlights turned off when getting an image of the menu. You can turn off the highlights when previewing by temporarily setting the highlight style of all buttons to custom with no mask.
1. Edit | Select All
2. In the properties window, set Button Properties | Highlight | Style to "Custom" and Mask to "None".

Thanks SonySDB! I tried a simple test with the end action & it looks as though it will work for me!! You da man! I'm not sure how smooth the video & audio will be during the end action transition though. we'll see.

The transition between the "intro" video and the menu will not be seamless. So, the last video frame of the intro video will be shown for more than one frame period while the transition occurs. And as you may have guessed, it's also best to drop the audio off at the end of the intro because there will be a gap.
