anybody use IDE RAID for audio?

Thought about it but was able to get a 4 drive SCSI RAID setup for free.
Very nice. No problems - completely transparent to the audio SW.
I highly recommend it.
Given the price of IDE RAID cards (<$100) and the price or IDE drives (very affordable) I'd jump in with both feet.
